Larry graduated with an Accounting degree from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL, served in the US Army for two years and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1978. Larry has over 40 years of experience in both public and private accounting in Central Illinois.

In 1980 Larry established his own accounting firm, Allison & Associates, CPA, in Clinton, IL. Allison & Associates, CPAs offered accounting and tax preparation services to businesses and individuals in Illinois. Auditing services were offered to governmental organizations and non-profit corporations.

In 1991, Larry became registered to offer securities as well as insurance licensed which enables him to offer more complete financial services to his clients. Larry is a Registered Representative affiliated with Cetera Financial Specialists LLC which allows him to offer mutual fund securities, fixed and variable annuities, stocks, bonds, life insurance and long-term care insurance. He is also separately registered as an Investment Adviser Representative affiliated with Cetera Investment Advisers LLC which allows him to offer fee-based asset management services. 

Member: American Institute of Certified Public Accountants with Personal Financial Services credentials, Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Sun City Kiwanis Club.

As of May, 2009, Larry has relocated his financial services business to Georgetown, TX. Where he enjoys playing golf when not providing services to his current clients or meeting new clients.
